Banksia Environmental Award

Telstra's partnership with the Banksia Environmental Awards began in 1993 and is now in its 15th year. The Awards acknowledge excellence, dedication and leadership in various areas that contribute to the environment and a sustainable future.

The Banksia Awards are recognised as Australia's pre-eminent environmental awards. This year, Telstra is sponsoring the inaugural Banksia People's Choice Award, a new environmental award aimed at engaging the general community through a voting process. This award empowers the average Australian to vote for the environmental initiatives they feel deserve recognition.
